MOSCOW, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Russia could sell 20-21 million tons of grain abroad in the first half of 2021, Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said on Thursday.
Some 60 million tons of grain will be reserved for the second half of the year, Reshetnikov said during his meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
The minister said Russia has stocked an unprecedented amount of almost 82 million tons of grain, and the government is working on export rules, including duties and agricultural subsidies, which are planned to come into force on April 1.
Russia remains the world's top wheat exporter, Putin said. Enditem
