BEIJING, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Zhejiang Lions point guard Sun Minghui and Shanxi Loongs guard Jamaal Franklin were named the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Players of the Week on Monday.
Sun averaged 33.0 points, 13.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in two matches. This is the second time that Sun has claimed the weekly award in the 2020-21 CBA season.
Franklin spent time building chemistry with his teammates after returning to Shanxi, but broke out last week with an average of 47.3 points, 15.3 assists, 11.3 boards and 1.7 steals in 46 minutes of play.
After the CBA's first phase matches concluded last Saturday, Zhejiang sits eighth of 19 clubs with a win-loss record of 6-4, while Shanxi is ninth at 5-5. Enditem
