Photo taken on March 14, 2019 shows a villager attending a conference on poverty alleviation with her child sleeping on her back in Wuying, a village of Miao ethnic group on the border of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and southwest China's Guizhou Province. Wuying used to be a very poor village with scarce land resources, a harsh natural environment and inconvenient transportation. In 2019, 44 households in this village were lifted out of poverty. The number of poor households has fallen to 4 households from 92 households in 2016. (Xinhua/Huang Xiaobang)
