BEIJING, July 11, (Xinhua) -- An animation and comic work campaign will be initiated to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
The campaign will solicit comic works, mainly in three categories -- cartoon image design, cartoon and animated comic short video, from July 15 to Oct. 7.
The submitted works should focus on the enthusiasm of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups striving for national rejuvenation, the Chinese spirit, people who dedicated themselves to the country and the great achievements since the founding of PRC.
Applicants are encouraged to create their works about China's traditional culture, revolutionary culture, advanced socialist culture and intangible cultural heritage. The works can be submitted via the online platform (dmzg.17ok.com).
The selected outstanding art works will later be exhibited and promoted through online and offline activities, according to the organizer.
