Cambodian boy with multilingual talent offered education opportunity in China's Zhejiang

Thuch Salik became viral overnight when a video clip showing him selling souvenirs in a dozen distinct languages near Angkor Wat was shared online on November 2018. Born in a family with financial difficulties, the 14-year-old Cambodian boy got global attention for his multilingual talent. In May, Salik was offered a place at a foreign language school in Zhuji of east China's Zhejiang Province on an education programme funded by a private sponsor in China.
