PHNOM PENH, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen will attend the 75th Session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand on May 27, said a foreign ministry's statement on Thursday.
Hun Sen's upcoming attendance was announced following an invitation extended by Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, the Executive Secretary of the UN-ESCAP, the statement said.
The Cambodian prime minister will deliver a keynote address in the opening session, focusing on Cambodia's experiences in socio-economic development thereby improving the quality of life of all Cambodian people, it said.
Hun Sen's entourage will include Ly Thuch, president of the National Committee for Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and Ing Kantha Phavi, minister of women's affairs, and other senior government officials, the statement added.
