PARIS, May 17 (Xinhua) -- La Liga club Barcelona was handed a 20,000-euro fine due to "insufficient organization", UEFA announced on Friday.
Barcelona drew Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 at home in a Champions League group match on Dec. 11, 2018.
According to a video posted online, security staff were found to hit Tottenham fans inside the stadium.
UEFA announced that its disciplinary body has decided to fine Barcelona 20,000 euros for the latter's insufficient organization.
Ajax was fined 52,500 euros in another case due to their fans' misconduct, including throwing of objects, crowd disturbances and stairways blocked, during the Champions League quarterfinal first leg match against Juventus. Enditem
