BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- A floral show, displaying 70 varieties of peonies, has been open to visitors against the majesty of the Forbidden City in Beijing.
The peonies, arranged mainly in the Palace of Compassion and Tranquility, came from Heze in eastern China's Shandong Province, one of the major origins of peony flowers in the country since ancient times.
In the digital experience hall, technology brings visitors into an immersive setting of peony flowers.
The show is open to visitors with admission tickets to the Forbidden City for free till May 12.
