GUIYANG, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Kweichow Moutai, China's leading liquor brand, opened a research institute Monday.
According to Moutai Group, the institute is a non-profit business think tank that offers R&D, consultancy and a range of services.
The institute includes an advisory committee for policy decision, a development strategy research center, an enterprise management research center, a marketing research center, a liquor-making technique research center, and a big data analysis center.
A total of 45 experts, including academicians and university professors as well as Nielsen China have been appointed as its members.
Moutai University, also sponsored by the group, opened to students in Renhuai city in southwest China's Guizhou Province in 2017, offering five majors including distilling, wine-making, food quality and safety, and marketing.
