MACAO, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- An international forum on promoting global environmental co-operation and ecological civilization will be held in China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) late March, the SAR government's Information Bureau said here on Saturday.
2019 Macao International Environmental Cooperation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF) is themed of promoting ecological civilization and green development. It is scheduled from March 28-30, the bureau said.
The forum, aiming at serving as an platform for promoting global environmental technology transfer and sustainable development, includes a series of activities such as seminar, exhibition and public day.
The forum will set up a "Greenovation Zone" to offer displays and networking activities related to innovative green technologies and promote the application and exchange of innovative environmentally-friendly technologies.
The MIECF was first launched in 2008 and this year will be its 12th edition. Last year's forum witnessed the signing of 35 agreements and 349 on-site business matching sessions.
