RABAT, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Defending champions Moroccan Raja Casablanca booked their place in the group stage of African Confederation Cup after defeating Namibian champions African Stars 1-0 in the Moroccan city of Marrakech on Sunday.
The Moroccan giants scored their winner in the 56th minute through a header from defender Badr Banoune.
The Green Eagles advanced to the mini league stage with 2-1 on aggregate, after drawing 1-1 last weekend in Namibia.
Raja Casablanca joined other Moroccan Hassania Agadir and RS Berkane in the second tier continental club competition's mini league stage.
