The IPPAN organized the similar expo in January last year, where around 100 exhibitors including those from China had participated.
In a press statement, the IPPAN said hydropower developers, associated technology manufactures and suppliers, investors, insurance companies, banks, and construction companies from Nepal, China, India, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, South Korea, Sweden and Britain will be participating in the event.
"Most of the companies participating in the event are from China and India and the companies having collaboration between these two countries," Shailendra Guragain, president of IPPAN told Xinhua on Thursday.
Guragain said the main objective of the expo was to bring stakeholders together and provide a common platform to buy and sell goods, and share knowledge about the technologies, among others.
