JAKARTA, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's national football team plays Timor-Leste here on Tuesday evening in their second Group B 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup match.
Indonesia's head coach Bima Sakti said his team will use Tuesday's match as an opportunity to bounce back after a disappointing 1-0 defeat away at Singapore in their last game.
"The chance to qualify [for the knockout phase] still exists. This has not ended," he said.
Meanwhile, Timor-Leste were defeated 7-0 by Thailand on Sunday.
Coach Bima promised to evaluate the Singapore defeat and fix weaknesses that emerged during that match in order to achieve a positive result against Timor-Leste.
"We will work hard to try to win the match," said Bima, who added that his side would look to use the pace of both wingers in the upcoming game.
After one round of matches in Group B, Indonesia are currently pointless but ahead of Timor-Leste on goal difference. Thailand and Singapore both have three points, with the Philippines yet to play.
The top two teams after four rounds of matches will advance to the semifinals, where they will be joined by the two best teams from Group A.
