BANGKOK, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- A ferry boat shuttling passengers between Pattaya and Hua Hin across the Gulf of Thailand, which has temporarily stopped service, will be returning to the sea on Thursday.
Hua Hin City's chief clerk Chareewat Phramanee confirmed on Wednesday that Royal Passenger Liner Co.'s ferry boat will resume daily service throughout the upcoming high tourist season.
Given a low turnout of passengers during low season, the ferry boat has suspended service from Sept. 20 until Wednesday.
The 340-seat catamaran shuttles passengers daily between Pattaya and Hua Hin for a fare of 1,250 baht (about 37.87 U.S. dollars) in economy class and 1,550 baht (about 46.96 U.S. dollars) in first class.
