KHARTOUM, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Sudan's security service said on Monday that it has freed an Egyptian military force abducted by a Libyan group on the Sudanese-Egyptian-Libyan border, Sudanese Media Center reported.
Sudan's National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) carried out an "effective operation" on early Monday morning, and freed the Egyptian force, comprised of an officer and four soldiers, said the report.
The abductees were freed in the special operation under direct supervision of NISS's Chief Salah Abdalla, the report added.
