KUWAIT CITY, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday inaugurated Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center, a world class museum district and the largest cultural center in Kuwait.
Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah said the cultural center is a scientific, cultural and historic monument, which displays the past and present as well as illustrating a future vision.
The center includes four museums, Natural History, Science, Islamic and Space and covers 130,000 square metres, presenting over 1100 exhibits.
Using leading-edge technology, immersive environments, large-scale models and compelling interactivity across all four museums, the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salam Cultural Center will provide an exciting range of attractions as well as a fresh new learning approach for visitors, the minister said. Enditem
