Taiwan's local elections to be held in November

TAIPEI, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Taiwan's local elections will be held on Nov. 24, according to the island's election affairs authority.

The elections will choose mayors, county chiefs, city councilors, township chiefs and village leaders.
