SEOUL, July 17 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter crashed Tuesday inside a military unit in South Korea's southeastern city of Pohang, with any casualty not confirmed yet, multiple local media reported citing firefighting authorities.

The chopper crashed at the landing strip of a Navy unit in Pohang, South Gyeongsang province, at about 4:45 p.m. local time (0745 GMT).

The firefighting authorities were quoted as saying that rescue workers were confirming whether three people aboard the helicopter were killed.
