SEOUL, May 31 (Xinhua) -- The possibility of a three-way summit among the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the United States and South Korea depends on the outcome of the DPRK-U.S. summit, the Blue House of South Korea said on Thursday.
A Blue House official, on condition of anonymity, told local media that whether the three-party summit will be held is connected to the outcome of the DPRK-U.S. summit, scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.
Negotiations have reportedly been underway between Pyongyang and Washington to prepare for the holding of the first-ever DPRK-U.S. summit between top DPRK leader Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump.
The Blue House said South Korea will not prepare for the three-way summit in advance.
